The dry cabin air on a plane is the last thing your skin needs before touching down at a new location. Since there’s a lack of humidity, skin can become flaky or your pores go into oil overdrive, thus turning you into a grease ball. Either option is a ‘No, thank you’. With all the traveling celebrities do, they’ve learned a few tricks to keep skin glowing on, and more importantly, first step off the plane.
Sofia Richie, daughter to Lionel Richie and model, has done her fair share of traveling for photoshoots and dream Mexico vacations with boyfriend, Scott Disick. The 19 year-old star recently told E! News her secret for keeping her complexion healthy and glowing: grape seed oil.

The oil comes from grapes after they’ve been used for wine and has tons of beauty benefits like lightening dark circles, fading scars, keeping skin moisturized, and tightening the skin. The genius behind it is that it isn’t as heavy as coconut oil meaning it won’t clog pores as easily and is doable for oily skin. And as for on a plane, oils work better than moisturizers because lotions have nothing to grab onto once on the skin due to the lack of water in the air.
