THE 2014 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES IN SOCHI, RUSSIA

Normally, a bobsled and a luge race starts with the forerunner bobsled or luge running down the bobsled/luge track to make sure it's safe enough for the Olympic game athletes to travel down.  It's normally a good idea for the forerunner bobsled or luge to announce himself/herself/themselves before going down the track by saying, "Sled on the tracks."
This time, the forerunner two man bobsled failed to announce himself before racing down the track.  An Olympic game worker was struck by a speeding two man bobsled as a result.  A broken leg and a concussion was the result followed by a trip to the nearest hospital in Russia.
And now the two man bobsled race has to be delayed so that maintenance workers can clean up the mess and possibly mop up the blood as well..
