fairy cups

It has been a tiring couple of weeks and as I am writing this, I should really be updating an online teaching topic for release tomorrow morning. I don't have enough motivation and I am battling with a painfully slow internet connection, which doesn't help. I forgot my mocca pot on the stove on Friday, the coffee was a geyser, the coffee grounds were incinerated and the plastic handle melted. I ordered a replacement, which arrived today. It is apparently for two cups but the cups must be fairy cups, barely enough to fill a thimble. Pretty much sums up the week.

The photos are from today's walk. I took the boys to the nature reserve near Mugdock Country park. The name eludes me at the moment. It is one of my favourite spots to walk but I haven't been for ages. There is no parking other than a lay-by, which makes it a quiet walk even on a sunny Sunday morning. It took my camera but as always when we go to the nature reserve, my battery is exhausted after taking three photos. No doubt a coincidence but it is a bit annoying. The photos today are taken with my phone camera, inferior to my camera but better than no photos. Boys and dog loved the mud.
