XELLE Finally Returns to the Scene With "Juicy" Self Love Anthem

Whether as a former trio with RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Mimi Imfurst or a fierce current duo, XELLE (aka JC Cassis and Rony Goffer) have always released their own special brand of pulsating, guilty pleasure dance/pop music that forced everyone out onto to the dance floor. From their insanely catchy "Party Girl" debut to their sexualized, reworked "Sweat", the ladies certainly know how to craft a delicious upbeat pop track.

With their new Darkroom EP right around the corner, September 10 to be exact, XELLE have finally unleashed their carefree, self love anthem "Juicy", a fun and exciting dance track that glorifies the natural body of a women. The girls of XELLE have always been proud of their voluptuous curves and embraced their sassy attitude, the basis of the brand new single release.

Produced by frequent collaborator Zach Adam, the upcoming EP's lead single is a slight departure for the fabulous duo. Instead of a song in vein of the serious and emotional "Invincible" or the politically-charged "Red Flag", XELLE gives us a playful, radio friendly bop. "Pink lips, hair flips, these hips honey they don't lie, firm cheeks, twin peaks, nothing better than my cherry pie," the girls seductively sing.

"Juicy" may not be XELLE's greatest weapon in their bright, glittery arsenal, but it does represent the talented duo well. Thankfully, even while surrounded by lyrical content referencing Slurpees and thirsty boys, the vocal performances from the girls are still strong and dominate, just as when I've witnessed the duo live on stage. There are times when the production of the song gets a little too chaotic and distracting, but JC and Rony pull through in the end. You'll definitely have this one on repeat.

To support the new infectious single, XELLE ventured through Washington Square Park in New York to capture complete strangers joining them in a somewhat-synchronized dance routine while wearing the most over-the-top yet perfect outfits and bright blue wigs. The visual for "Juicy" embodies the group's silly and outrageous personality while giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at everything XELLE is willing to do for their art.

Join in, embrace your big personality and get "Juicy" with XELLE! Good work ladies!
